About The Artist

Darla Revelle was born and raised in Victoria, Tx. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art in 1993. To help put herself through college, she worked with her future husband, Wilson, and his family in their portrait studio & picture frame shop in Huntsville, TX. She fell in love with framing then and has never stopped. She and her husband moved to the New Orleans area 17 years ago and decided they were "Home". Darla worked in various frame shops in the area, gaining experience and a loyal following of customers. In January 2005, she decided to venture out and start her own frame shop and art gallery showcasing local artists to supply an outlet for some of the best artist talent in the south. With the help of loyal customers and corporate accounts her frame shop has become a dream come true for her.

While the success of her up and coming business has been great, she hopes to continue to grow and offer creative, quality, and affordable archival framing to the entire New Orleans metro area as well as the Gulf South with a personal touch for many years to come.
